How to take care of your vegetable tanned leather sandals

Like anything of value, taking care of your sandals will make sure they are around for a long time. All of our sandals are sent with a protective leather conditioner already applied that repels some water. However, as a vegetable tanned leather, they will absorb water much more easily than chrome tanned leather. This can especially be noticeable on the lighter leathers, we suggest applying a water protector too on both the upper straps and sole to protect them from anything you encounter on your daily travels.
