We have always been conscious that our online store meant that we would be shipping our sandals all over the world. Concerned with the amount of packaging we sent out, we decided to send them in the most environmentally friendly packaging we could find. Initially, this was heavy duty cardboard envelopes with our sandals being enclosed in our handmade shoebags (using organic muslin with scrap leather to minimise all waste). Unhappy with the packaging we kept our eye out for something that was friendlier to the environment and we finally found it. The Better Packaing Co has created satchels that are not only environmentally friendly but compostable! We are so excited to be able to send you your sandals in these new bags as of now!
