Kintsugi Joinery Sandals

Kintsugi Joinery Sandals

$190.00

Kintsugi, or Kintsukuroi, is the centuries-old Japanese art of fixing broken pottery and translates to “golden joinery,”. Far from hiding flaws, the golden seams highlight what would be considered imperfections. Something we believe is important.

Our sandals use 3mm gold foil kangaroo leather lacing (one of the strongest leathers in the world) to create the effect of golden seams across the fore and mid foot. 1.5m of the same lacing wraps around the ankle to secure your foot into the sandal.

 -Slight heel (measures approximately 20mm/2cm)

- Due to the handmade nature of the product, slight variations in leather & colour may occur

- Slip on

-Handmade in Australia

Model is a size 38.5 and wears a size 38 Kintsuji Joinery sandal

Material: Vegetable tanned kangaroo leather upper & bovine leather sole. The natural tanning process means the colour will become richer with age. Natural lactae hevea stopper on sole to ensure grip.

Sizing & Fit: We use Italian European Sizing, which is the standard measurement for shoes. Our sandals fit true to size but if you prefer a bit of extra room, we suggest going up a size. The width of our sandals is quite standard as well and are medium width. Please check size guide for product measurements. The leather will stretch and mould to your foot, so don’t panic if they feel tight at first.

If you have a wider or a narrower foot it is possible to customise your sandals to your measurements. Please choose custom option at checkout or email us to discuss
